Journalism

Claire Scobie’s journalism career began at the Saturday Telegraph Magazine, London.
Winner of the prestigious Catherine Pakenham Award, Claire has worked freelance since 1997
for the British and Australian media.

Claire writes for numerous publications including the Daily Telegraph, Glasgow Herald,
the Observer Magazine, Sunday Times Magazine
and Destinasian and is a contributor to the
Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, Sunday Life, Marie Claire Australia
and the Qantas inflight
magazine, The Australian Way.

Her stories have also appeared in the anthology Lies, Deep Fries & Statistics from ABC Radio National’s Ockham’s Razor (ABC Books) and the Asia Literary Review, vol 3 and 4.
